The project is aimed at creating a large company for the extraction of construction stone and the production of crushed stone at the Bratskoye Granite Deposit in the amount of 5.95 million tons per year.
The construction of the plant will reduce the systemic deficit of crushed granite in the market of the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation, which resulted from the cessation of imports from Ukraine and the rapid growth of construction in the country.
Key Project Management Phases:
- development of a granite quarry;
- construction of a crushing and screening plant with an annual output of not less than 5.95 million tons of crushed stone;
- construction of general engineering infrastructure, environmental facilities, engineering networks, and communications;
- renovation of the Malyga station of the Oktiabrskaya Railway Line, construction of seven-km private access routes to the Bratskaya intra-plant railway station, which will include an automated storage and loading system.
Key Indicators:
- Mining volume: 8.43 million tons
- Production volume: 5.95 million tons
- The key markets are Moscow and Moscow Region, which account for up to 80% of the total consumption of crushed granite in the Central Federal District.
- In addition, products will be sold in all other regions of the Central Federal District and the Northwestern Federal District.
The following factors constitute the plant’s competitive advantages:
- high-quality raw materials, which will be used by the plant
- modern SANDVIK equipment, which incorporates latest crushing technology, will ensure:
- high-quality products
- a low volume of production waste
- an option to quickly reconfigure the setting in order to change crushed stone fractions
- significant volume of production (not less than 5.95 million tons per year)
- an automated transport and loading system – a unique logistical facility that allows for the dispatch of at least 350 open freight cars per day (up to 5 exit routes)
